Classroom Resources & Information

Our classroom curriculum is built around Letterland for literacy and enVision Math for mathematics. I also follow the North Carolina Standard Course of Study in all subject areas, including science and social studies, to ensure that students are meeting grade-level expectations while growing as curious, confident learners.

Activities

In our kindergarten classroom, students learn through a balance of whole group lessons, small group activities, and hands-on exploration. Each day includes literacy and math centers, read-alouds, and guided practice to build foundational skills. Students also enjoy art, music, movement, and play-based learning that encourage creativity and social development. Science and social studies are taught through interactive projects, experiments and assignments that weave into other core subjects that spark curiosity and connect to the world around them.
