My Journey

Hi there! I'm Bella Knight, hailing from the town of Boone, North Carolina. A proud student of Appalachian State University, I will hold a degree in Elementary Education.

My hopeful journey in education isn't just about textbooks and lesson plans, it's a passionate commitment to fostering an open, inclusive, and responsible community within my future classroom. I believe in creating a space where every voice is heard, valued, and respected, regardless of background or ability.

One of my greatest joys is being immersed in the beauty of the outdoors. Whether it's hiking through the forests of the Blue Ridge Mountains or simply taking a walk in a local park, I find solace and inspiration in nature. My love for the outdoors isn't just a personal hobby, it's a philosophy that I plan to weave into my future teaching approach, encouraging my students to explore, discover, and appreciate the wonders of the natural world and understand its connections to their education. I also intently value my family and the aspects of myself that were developed through my personal family structure. I hope to empower all of my students to be proud of and embrace where they come from, whether that be a place, or person, or their own individual experiences/hardships. 

In every aspect of my life, I strive to embody integrity, empathy, and a relentless dedication to growth and learning and I hope my students are able to see this in me. I'm excited to embark on this journey of shaping young minds and nurturing future leaders, one lesson, and one adventure at a time.
